Forestals participates in Corporate Social Responsibility Day 2014

A number of Forestals employees joined CSR Day 2014 which was held on the 19th March.

The event consisted of a number of companies such as Tumas Group, HSBC, Farsons, Munich Re, MSV Life, Vassallo Group and as from 2014 Forestals who got together in order to carry out works in charitable institutions.

Forestals' task was to clear up a three storey house in Cospicua which was donated to St.Jeanne Antide Foundation. This will be converted into a home for vulnerable women and their children. It required a complete clean up, clearing of the loads of things gathered over the years by the old man who lived in this house and who donated it.

Although the work was tough - five large skips were filled - the event turned out to be a great experience and was very rewarding. It also resulted in being an excellent team building session and left those who participated with a feeling of great personal satisfaction.

On the morning of the event, some Forestals Social Committee members visited the Agenzija Sapport’s Ċentru Taħriġ to meet Mrs. Kate Gonzi and The Archbishop who also expressed their gratitude for our contribution.
